The carrier provides both domestic and international scheduled and charter services. Beijing Capital Airlines, formerly known as Deer Air, is a subsidiary of HNA Group. It was established on the 2nd May 2010 with restructured ownership. The carrier provides both domestic and international scheduled services that are mainly concentrated in Beijing. Beijing Capital Airlines was originally founded as Deer Air on 1st November 2005, with one Boeing 737 aircraft and commenced operations on 5th January 2006. The airline transferred its hub operations from Beijing Capital Airport to the new Beijing Daxing International Airport following its completion in 2019. Beijing Capital Airlines utilises a fleet of narrowbody and widebody aircraft. Beijing Capital Airlines has agreements with the following airlines: Air France, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern, Delta Airlines and Japan Airlines. This vastly increases their reach and allows them to offer travel to more destinations. Beijing Capital Airlines is the largest airline in China. It currently operates over 800 domestic routes and 60 international routes. It has agreed to codeshare with Air Canada, Air China, Asiana Airlines, Delta Airlines, El Al Israel Airlines, Korean Air Lines Co., Ltd., Qatar Airways, Swiss International Air Lines Ltd., Singapore Airlines Limited and Virgin Atlantic Airways. Beijing Capital Airlines will be the only carrier to use the new Beijing Daxing International Airport. The airline has been based in Beijing since its founding in 1988 and has a fleet of over 300 aircraft, a hub at Beijing Capital Airport, and an extensive domestic network.
